The Pi Cup.
The 23rd Pi Day celebration at the 窪蹋勛圖厙 is slated for Thursday, March 9 on campus.
The events theme is, FRED MATH Presents: Pi School Musical. Members of the campus and community are invited attend the celebration from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in McEwen Hall Room 209.
Pi Day is March 14 (3-14, like the first three digits of pi) and SUNY 窪蹋勛圖厙's Department of Mathematical Sciences plans to celebrate a few days early due to the campus break.
Teams will compete for the coveted Pi Cup and win cool t-shirts that money can't buy! Based upon the Disney classic movie High School Musical, teams will audition for a spot in the finals. Singing, dancing, and math will all be encouraged and all at the same time.
